Common desert safari timings in Dubai
The exact schedule depends on the tour, the date and your pickup area. As a general guide, morning pickup is often between 7:00 and 9:00 AM. Evening pickup is often between 2:00 and 3:30 PM, with return around 9:00 to 10:00 PM.
These are common windows, not a fixed timetable. Your written confirmation is the best source for the day of your trip.
Why the time can change
The driver may have a shared pickup route. A hotel farther from the route can affect the collection time. Sunset also changes through the year, so the tour plan can shift to reach the dunes at the right time. Traffic, weather and local instructions can affect the return journey too.
What to do with your schedule
Keep the pickup window free and be ready at the agreed place. Do not plan a tight connection, dinner booking or airport transfer straight after an evening safari. Give yourself extra time in case the vehicle reaches Dubai later than expected.
If you need to be back by a certain time, tell the booking team before you pay. Ask whether a private vehicle or a shorter morning tour could fit your plan. Do not assume a shared tour can leave early or change its route.
